Melaniestarted MtSkate on the parquet of Bay House Sports Centre with a dozen pairs of borrowed skates, a friend's laser pen, and a stubborn belief that you can't be in a bad mood with wheels on your feet.
Today we run two sides of the same business. Our public roller discoshappen at Bay House Sports Centre, Gosport every other Saturday, with themed nights through the year. Christmas Skate Spectacular, Halloween Rink of Fear, Valentine's, the lot.
For everyone else we're a mobile roller disco. We pack the lights, lasers, skates and DJ kit into a van and bring it to you. Kids' birthday parties, adult parties, hen and stag dos, corporate away days and team building. Hampshire and well beyond. You sort the hall, we sort the rest.
We're a small team led by Melanie. We know most of you by name. We take it seriously enough to do it well, and not so seriously that we forget it's a roller disco.
